B.N. College of Education, Dhoraiya (Banka) is a duly recognized institution for B.Ed & D.El.Ed (two years) course by ERC, NCTE, Bhubaneshwar with two basic units of (50+50=100) Boys and Girls. It is a self financing institution under the affiliating jurisdiction of T.M Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur & B.S.E.B Patna.

Curriculum:  U.G.C /NCTE Curriculum approved by T.M . Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur & B.S.E.B , Patna.

Length of Course: Two academic years , i.e July to June Covering 200 teaching days in a year. ( Four month Internship programme & One month Observation Programme.)

Medium of Instruction : Bi-lingual (Hindi & English )

Uniform for Boys : Grey Pant , White Full Shirt , Green Blazer Cardigan.

Uniform for Girls : Grey Sari or Salwar, White Blouse, Kurta, Green Cardigan .

Attendance: 80 % attendance is compulsory ,Participation in practice lesson is essential.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have qualified Combined Entrance Test (CET) Examination  organized by the nodal university of Bihar for B.Ed and Bihar School Examination Board, Bihar(B.S.E.B) for D.El.Ed.

D.El.Ed:- Minimum qualification for admission into D.El.Ed is 10+2 /Intermediate or equivalent Diploma with 50% marks for General ,OBC, EBC and 45% for SC/ST.

B.Ed :- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree for General ,OBC,EBC and 45% aggregate marks for SC and ST.

SELECTION : B.Ed CET – As per Nodal University Norms.

D.El.Ed  CET – As per Bihar School Examination Board ,Patna.

FEES: The annual fees for B.Ed is Rs 75000/-

The annual fees for D.El.Ed is Rs 60000/-
