Skill Development Programme
B.N. College of Education (B.N.C.E.), Dhoraiya, Banka, is committed to the holistic development of student teachers, ensuring they acquire high-quality education alongside essential skills for professional success. To enhance employability and teaching competencies, the college has established several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with reputed institutions.
Since August 2021, more than 200 students of B.N. College of Education have actively participated in both offline and online courses through platforms like SWAYAM, ABC, and DigiLocker. The college has also collaborated with various reputed institutions to organize workshops, seminars, and training programs, many of which have been highlighted in national newspapers.
The college offers a variety of value-added courses covering communication and personality development, ICT integration in teaching, life skills education, soft skills, art-based teaching methods, and self-defense training. Regular seminars, webinars, workshops, and expert interactive sessions are organized to cultivate essential skills among students.
Looking forward, B.N.C.E. plans to introduce skill-centric curricular and extracurricular activities aligned with NEP 2020, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers. The dedicated faculty continuously support this initiative, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel as educators.
