Code Of Conduct For Institution/Administrator
- At all-time maintain a professional relationship with all teachers, staffs and students.
- Provide CCTV for the safeguard of the students and teachers.
- Students will take gate pass from the principal if they go out during class hour.
- Encourage students, faculty, non-teaching staff and co- workers to develop as active, responsible and efficient individuals.
- Promote team work, respecting their professional capacity and interest and be prepared to offer advice and assistance.
- Parent will not be entertained during the class hour.
Code Of Conduct For Teachers
- All faculty members should work within the institutional policies and practices so as to satisfy the vision and mission of the college.
- All the members of the teaching staff must be punctual for classes and should adhere to the timings scheduled for other activities and events.
- The working hours of the teaching staff shall be according to the prescribed time table and any other additional duty assigned to them.
- During the period of service, all members of the teaching staff shall employ themselves honestly and efficiently under the supervision of the Head of the institution.
- No member of staff shall engage in any political activity within the college campus.
- Mentor ward system must be followed by every teacher and the teachers should take proper care of their group of students by guiding, motivating counselling and monitoring them.
- Teachers should help students to develop an awareness and understanding of their own rights and respect for the rights of others.
- Teachers should be faithful in maintaining the attendance register.
- Teachers should be teaching according to the approved syllabus of T.M.B University, Bhagalpur.
- Teachers should be prepared lesson at the earliest in order promote safe learning environment.
Code Of Conduct For Non-Teaching / Administrative Staffs
- All staff members should display the highest possible standard of professional behaviour. They should be punctual and disciplined towards their work.
- Every staff member shall maintain the appropriate levels of confidentiality with respect to student and staff records and other sensitive matters.
- The normal working period for those in the category of non-teaching staff shall be from 10:00AM to 5:00PM with half hour lunch break on all working day.
- All staff members must refrain from any form unlawful discrimination relating to Gender/sexuality/age/marital status in their behaviour towards their colleagues, teaching Staff and students.
- All staff members should care in the use of college properties like computer, library books, laboratory equipment, attendance register etc.
Code Of Conduct For Students
- Students enrolled in this college are expected to follow the rules and guidelines set by the college administration.
- It is mandatory for students to attend classes regularly and maintain a minimum of 75% attendance. Those who fail to do so will be dealt with by the Academic Committee.
- Students who do not meet the required attendance will be considered non-collegiate, and those with less than 25% attendance will be termed discollegiate.
- Students must ensure that all college fees and dues are paid on time.
- Participation in all internal examinations held by the college is compulsory for every student.
- Any student caught using unfair practices during exams or possessing unauthorized materials such as books, notes, or papers (excluding the question paper) will be disqualified.
- Students are expected to contribute positively to the college environment through proper conduct and respectful behaviour.
- All students must uphold unity and harmony amongst themselves.
- Students should treat the college as a place of respect and discipline by maintaining cleanliness, good manners, integrity, diligence, and reverence toward teachers and peers.
- Silence must be strictly observed in classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and computer rooms.
- In the absence of a lecturer, the students’ union is responsible for maintaining discipline and order in the class and must perform this duty with sincerity.
- Students assigned any duty must perform it with dedication and fairness as per the instructions of the principal, vice-principal, or the designated teacher. This responsibility should be seen as a service to both the college and fellow students.
- Students are always welcome to approach the principal, vice-principal, or teachers for any valid or compassionate concerns.
- Students must strictly observe rules related to punctuality, regularity, teacher respect, and concern for the college’s welfare. Respecting both personal and college property, as well as belongings of others, is expected. Any damage done must be repaired, and fines or penalties may be imposed by the principal on those responsible.
- Every student must come to college clean and well-groomed, keeping in mind that “Cleanliness is next to godliness.”
- Students must wear the prescribed college uniform, necktie, and student ID card while on campus.
- College library books must be returned on or before the assigned due date.
- Students are required to pay late fines and damage charges if college library books are returned late or in poor condition.
- The use of mobile phones is strictly forbidden inside the classroom.
- A student union body will be formed through selection for a one-year term to promote the development, unity, and security of all students, with the principal as president and vice-principal/academic in-charge as vice-president.
- The role of General Secretary will be held by a nominated teacher chosen by the students. However, the principal or vice-principal has full authority to dissolve, terminate, or reshuffle the union whenever necessary.
- The student union will actively participate and support the observance of nationally significant days.
- At the end of each month, a cleanliness drive will be organized by the student union to ensure hygienic and clean surroundings both inside and outside the college campus.
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, and use of intoxicants are completely banned within the college premises.
- Students are strictly prohibited from engaging in demonstrations or strikes related to fees, examinations, activities, or admissions.
- Any breach of the rules mentioned above will attract disciplinary action.
