Disciplinary Rules
Students of B.N. College of Education, Dhoraiya, Banka are expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline, decorum, and moral conduct, reflecting the values of the institution. The following rules govern student behavior and discipline:
- All students must strictly adhere to the disciplinary rules framed by the college administration. Non-compliance will be dealt with by the Principal, whose decision shall be final and binding.
- Students must maintain exemplary behavior and discipline both inside and outside the college premises.
- The college address shall not be used by students for any personal correspondence. The college will not be responsible for the loss or misplacement of any such letters or parcels.
- Students without scheduled classes should spend their time productively in the library or designated study areas, and not loiter in corridors or open spaces.
- Uploading or sharing objectionable, inappropriate, or harmful material on the internet or social media is strictly prohibited.
- Students arriving late to class will not be permitted to enter once the session has begun, nor are they allowed to disturb ongoing lectures or wander in corridors.
- Students involved in special academic activities such as Moot Court preparation, practice teaching, or seminars must attend all regular classes and may use the library facilities only after class hours.
- Faculty members and class-in-charges will regularly monitor attendance, academic progress, behavior, and overall well-being of students.
- No student shall enter or leave the classroom without the permission of the lecturer or faculty member in charge.
- Respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students must be maintained at all times. Any form of misconduct, misbehavior, or indiscipline will invite strict disciplinary action.
